1. How do I apply to the College of Business Administration? To apply for admission to the College of Business, see your UARC business advisor at least two weeks before your registration appointment day. See Admission to COBA.
2. When do I apply to the College of Business?
You
must apply to the College of Business during the semester you complete
the Business pre-core courses or when you plan on registering for your
final Business pre core courses and upper-level business courses. The deadlines
for both continuing and transfer students to apply to the College is July
1 for Fall semester and January 1 for Spring semester. Applications are reviewed two weeks after the fourteen week term and final
grades are posted. Students will then be notified by mail of admission
decisions.
3. What if I don't have the prerequisite for the class I want? If you have not met course prerequisites, you will be removed from the class in question, and notified by mail. If you would like to appeal for a prerequisite exception contact your advisor.
4. How do you request a policy exception? An appeal process is available for possible exceptions to University or College policies. See your advisor for an explanation of the appropriate procedure for your request.
5. If a class is closed is there a waiting list? Waiting lists are not started for business or economics courses until all sections of a class are full. They are maintained until December 1 for Spring and May 1 for Fall. It is imperative that students who need a closed class get on the waiting list. The college uses waiting lists to determine what additional sections are needed. To get on a waiting list students must come to the College of Business office in Clow C151 and complete a wait list card.
6. What does the designation "department consent" mean on TitanWeb for business classes? When you see the designation "department consent" on a business course in TitanWeb this means that a waiting list has been started for the course. Go to the College of Business office, Clow C151 and complete a wait list card.
