Scholarships & Awards
The College of Business Alumni Association (CBAA) was created in 1993 to serve as a vital link between the College and its 12,000+ alumni. A Board of Directors oversees the development of the annual dinner and scholarship.
The annual dinner has created funds for college pride projects and scholarships. CBAA has sponsored the following initiatives thanks to the generous support of alumni, faculty and friends:
- $25,000 to complete the College of Business student study room
- $9,000 awarded in scholarships
- Installation of a glass door to encourage and welcome students to visit the College office
- Creation of the Outstanding Alumni and Faculty wall of fame
- Sponsorship of College of Business decals sent to over 12,000 alumni in October, 2005
The new projects on the horizon include:
- Increasing the CBAA endowment to award more scholarships
- Purchase a stock ticker and install a news feed for the student breezeway
- Purchase a Beta Gamma Sigma key and stone base
