Human Resource Management

Human Resource Management professionals design jobs and write job descriptions; recruit, screen and hire new employees; train employees to perform their current jobs more effectively; and help employees develop new skills to take on more responsible positions. They also create systems to monitor and improve individual and team performance, manage pay systems and benefits plans, negotiate and administer labor agreements, and generally manage the employment relationship.
